Those who understand strand genre well would most certainly have some knowledge and information about Death Stranding. It is very much a part of the strand genre. While this cannot be denied, there is quite a bit of mystery surrounding the next title from Hideo Kojima. During the opening presentation of Gamescome 2019, we had the chance to have a second at Death Stranding and that too in action. There is no denying the fact that the game is visually fantastic and stunning. The gameplay is also very interesting and it seems to involve quite a bit of hand-holding and walking through. The walking through is basically in an open world. It is a place where you could deliver goods and more importantly you also could reconnect with the people who are forced to live in an American that is badly fractured.
Players can also have the opportunity of scanning the environment. They also will be in a position to use a number of tools for traversing and exploring a terrain that is unforgiving to say the least. Falling down and tripping comes with its own share of problems. You could agitate the baby that you are carrying. That would be bad, to say the least. Should this happen, the players have no other option but to cuddle. They also should bounce the baby and ensure that he feels better. The players have to rock and cuddle the baby by physically changing the PS4 controllers. This is done with the help of motion controls. But you have to be careful when you shake the baby. If you do it too hard, you will have another problem in hand. You will irritate and make the baby angry and an angry baby is a big problem, to say the least.
It also would be interesting to know more about the odd mechanic. He certainly is gross because the mechanic allows the players to pee. However, there are many who believe that this could have more to do with the survival systems built in the game. Kojima goes on to say that the players would be in a position to use this pee more as a weapon than anything else. Further, if people get into the habit of peeing on the same spot around the world, there is a belief that something good might happen. Though there is not much of an explanation about the same, there are a few weird things that happened when someone peed. For example, when a demo was held by Sam, there was an instance when somebody pee. The pee has an awesome quality by which it makes mushroom grow. While this might look gross for many of us, it is a part of the game and serious players have got used to it. In fact, many of them use this as a tactical weapon in their objective of overcoming tough opposition.
We also need to bear in mind that the industry journalist who brought the whole thing to light is none other than Geoff Keighley. He is famous in the game as an NPC. Further, there is a confirmation that Death Stranding will be reaching PS4 on November 8. However, it might take some time for the best of actions to take shape. It might actually happen at TGS the following month. The gameplay can be watched online and there are many websites and links that could enable you to do it. You also could have a look at the full presentation of Kojima’s. This will help you to have a much better understanding of the various features that are forthcoming and on track as far as Death Stranding is concerned.
To sum up, there is no doubt that the original version of Death Stranding has been quite brilliant, to say the least. Hence, there is quite a bit of expectation and hope as far as the new expanded look of Death Stranding is concerned. Going by the past track record of the founders of this game, there are many reasons to believe that these expansions would add a totally new and awesome dimension to the entire game. However, there is no denying the fact that the proof of the pudding lies in the eating and therefore it would be better to wait till the actual expanded versions hit the market. Till then, we have to go only by hearsay rather than having a chance to experience the game.
